Taxation Series: County Total 2025 Revenue

In Fiscal 2025, Kane County’s total budgeted revenue was $433.16 Million. Much of the revenue budgeted in 2025 came from property taxes and sales tax. However, in most years, the majority of the County’s revenue is allocated in an “Other” revenue type category. One important fund in this Other Revenue category is Kane County’s reserve fund.
